Hopes & Dreams, Endurance & Courage

This is a storytelling about the struggles African Americans have endured throughout American history. The students travel back in time through poetry by Langston Hughes, Carole Boston Weatherford, Margaret Walker, and quotes by Maya Angelou. Stories like The Silent Lobby, and The Sit-in are told along with music that teaches about endurance, hopes, dreams, and courage.

This is a fun storytelling to have during Black History Month.
